During this period the company has installed Warm Water Underfloor Heating (and Cooling) systems in buildings ranging from small domestic extensions, through large multi-million pound domestic properties to large commercial premises such as showrooms, hotels and schools.
We are able to work in sensitive environments such as refurbishment of Grade II Listed Tudor Barns to arduous environments such as the University Bio-Mass Recycling Project near Liverpool. Our customers include construction companies such as AMEC; architectural practices such as Foster & Partners, The Wilmot Partnership; Consulting Engineers such as Gifford & Partners, WS Atkins; to jobbing builders and self-build home owners.
Our manifolds are unique in that they are factory made as a single unit (including pump, mixing system and controls) and fully tested prior to leaving the factory. The WTH system uses a both 16mm & 20mm polyethylene tube with a 2.7mm/3.4mm wall thickness and oxygen diffusion barrier. The tube complies with all European and UK water regulations and is covered by a 50 year insurance backed guarantee. The tube and system is KIWA/KOMO approved No.11399/01 (equivalent to BBA Approval).
Any number of floor construction designs incorporating insulation (thermal and acoustic) and complying with the new Building Regulations can be used with Underfloor heating so that most floor types can be accommodated.
We use our own fully trained labour for our installations and are able to install at a rate of between 150 – 250 m² per day per 2-3 man team, depending on the type of installation and the system installed.
At present we have the capability to provide full in-house design services.
